Something has definitely changed here. I've had some billing problems in the past, but it never bothered me as they were quickly resolved and even though I have NEVER had Dr Samlaska attend to my issues for the few times that I've been there, the Physician Assistant who worked on me was pretty awesome. My most recent experience makes me feel like there are money issues with their business operations.
I think from an administrative standpoint they have problems. I called to make an appointment but their computer system was down. Ok that's fine. Stuff like that happens. Then when I received the call back my information on me that they had was wrong in regards to my medical coverage and the only thing they wanted to confirm was that I had to pay $125 up front. This was mentioned to me by their scheduler Vanessa several times during our dialogue. That seemed to be the priority...my up front fee, not the the discrepancy with my insurance. FWIW, my coverage allows me to see Specialist for $40 so if the person trying to get my business won't take the time to give me the benefit of the doubt then I need to look elsewhere which sucks because as I mentioned before, the PA that i had in 2016 was excellent. She was wonderful enough that I lament over the fact that I don't remember her name as I hope she is at another facility working her magic...
I understand the turmoils with staff and maybe this current crew is new or has undergone a high turnover rate. I'm not sure to be honest. However, I now have to schedule another appointment with my Family Doctor and ask for them to refer me to someone else.
