  • I am far from a dessert snob, but in July 2015, I ate the worst cupcake of my life at the Sprinkles location in Scottsdale. I arrived at the shop around noon and ordered the peanut butter chocolate cupcake with the dot on top (inside the shop). The cupcake itself was extremely dry and crumbly. The milk chocolate icing was good, but I honestly couldn't finish it. After two bites, I threw the rest of the cupcake in the garbage can next to the cupcake ATM. I was so disappointed as I'd been so eager to try an infamous Sprinkles cupcake. I've had MUCH better cupcakes for less money at other shops (some even in the Phoenix area). I gave the 1 star because I enjoyed watching someone else use the cupcake ATM - unique idea.
