  • I went in to this location on Thursday to get an "acrylic overlay" on my own nails with gel polish and pedicure... I received my pedicure first and it was ok, nothing negative nor "special" to report about the experience itself. Only issue was trying to choose a color for my toes to match the gel polish I had chosen for my nails, which ended up NOT matching at all and I had to re-paint them when I got home The MAJOR issues was my nails!! When I sat down the tech asked me again what I wanted and I again said "acrylic overlay ON MY NAILS"... He started my manicure and CHOPPED OFF MY NAILS!! He then had to put on tips and do a "full set" and gel polish, which I DID get charged for!! My tips on the middle and ring fingered where tilted up like duck bills and turned inward. Other nails where the wrong sizes. They all where different shapes and lengths. I'm NOT a confrontational person, so I paid $82 and tried to "like" them BUT 2 days later and after stopping in my hair salon and asking the advise of the nail tech there, I called Pink Nails about the issues on Saturday. This location was too busy so they sent me to there sister location @ Farm and Durango. When I arrived the receptionist looked at my nails, I had already decided to just soak off the nails and had gel polish put on my stubby short nails they left behind, instead of trying to have them "fix" them. The manager had just pulled up, so she went out to speak to him, when she came back in she told me he had agreed to soaking off my nails for me at no cost BUT I would have to pay $35 to have gel polish out back on my nails!!! I was SOOO upset and said just soak them off, I will not give another dine to this company!! While soaking I called the other location to get ahold of the manager, who was not there, I asked to have him come back to to salon and speak to me in person. He did NOT, instead he called me. I had to explain everything again and that I was VERY disappointed that HE "the manager" never too the time to come and look at my nails himself when he pulled up earlier. He finally agreed to have them apply the gel polish for me at no cost. It wasn't until AFTER I was in my way home did I think, I still ended up paying $82 for services!!! I should have been given a FULL refund!!! I will NEVER return to Pink Nails salons again, although the tech at Farm and Durango was kind and did take care of me even though this was NOT his fault... But this is POOR management!! I didn't even get as much as an "I'm sorry" from the manager!!
