  • We were looking for a restaurant close to my friends house and found Cajun. I asked the waiter about the most popular Po-boy and he suggested the shrimp. So I ordered the shrimp Po-boy with the smash potatoes and a side of the pickled beets. My friend had the fried shrimp, collards and fried okras. The Po-boy was larger than I expected and was delicious with just the right amount of shrimp, tomatoes and lettuce. The pickled beets was one of the best I have had from a restaurant, and plenty of them. My friend had the shrimp and they were large jumbo shrimp that wasn't heavily dipped in batter. The were light and flakey. She said the collards were good. I didn't taste them because they were cooked in pork. A good night and a good choice of restaurants. The only bad thing was waiting for a table and waiting for our food. I'm glad we didn't order an appetizer because we took home another serving of food.
