Father's Day Weekend 2014
Hubby had some COMP nights and free tickets to the "Oh What a Night!" Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons for Father's Day weekend. Since we've never stayed here before we decided to try it out...
5-stars: FREE show tickets
H (12-years-old) and I went to the show and we were probably one of the youngest attendees there! LOL! We enjoyed it!
3-stars: Pool
A very family-friendly pool! Little O loves the sand area and shallow end. She had fun making new friends.
CON=smoking allowed anywhere. :( Horrible when it's windy and you're down wind (one of the days we were out there)
3-stars: Food Court
Typical variety of food court choices--Fatburger, Capriotti's, Frozen Yogurt, Smoothies, Starbucks and Panda Express. Panda Express had free soda refills if you bought a large soda.
2-stars: Arcade
80 tokens for $20--great deal, comparable to Chuck E. Cheese, right? Nope!
CON: Games were "2 tokens" per game! :( Decent variety of games.
4-stars: Walk to Shopping
We liked walking out to The District shopping area, but not our typical stores. The Splash Pad was a great stop for free water play for O! REI was at the end of the shops and we always love window shopping in there. We bought food at Rachel's Kitchen and took it back to our room for dinner.
5-stars: Fitness Room
I LOVED this spa because it incorporated the fitness room. I was able to get a locker while I worked out but didn't get a chance to use the sauna or facilities. :( But I enjoyed the drinks and snacks in the Quiet Room for a few minutes after working out. I switched with the hubby and he went to work out while I watched the kids at the pool. Great variety of equipment and clean.
1-star: Casino
It sucked up our money fast! Not a very giving casino. :( Hubby even had $100 free table play...didn't help! :(
Overall, a good experience but I don't think it makes our list of places to come back to.
