  • Marigold is as good as it gets in Madison. They have been Madison's best lunch spot since they opened about 15 years ago. Management is superior here and they know how to pick staff. Food is spectacular and they are continually tweaking the menu and clearly put a lot of thought into daily specials. I can rely on Marigold Kitchen for a business meeting, or lunch with friends, and I know it will be consistently excellent. The only cons to Marigold are how popular it is, which can lead to a bit of a wait in line. Staff does a great job of making sure people don't walk in and stake a claim to a table before they actually order food, but occasionally you may have to wait for a table. Worth it!
