  • 3.5 stars The "Dump" is a misnomer because much of their furniture is not cheap by any means. A black wooden poker table that was marked down to only $2,500? A white sofa set that looks no better than anything you can get at Crate and Barrel that is being "dumped" for only $6,000 (original price $10,000)! Then they have a beautiful bedroom set that is $2,000 and is a steal. One huge bonus about the Dump is it's assembly and delivery charge! At many of these warehouse stores, they lack delivery or outsource the delivery and assembly to a third party source that is extremely expensive. They have a flat fee that was pretty cheap regardless of how many pieces you had. And when asked about assembly and delivery, they didn't hesitate and pull that "Oh, you want delivery, yeah well I guess we offer that" no, none of that attitude! The Dump is truly a mixed bag so don't go here with the intent that this is just Costco Home that's been renamed. Half the items in the store are way overpriced to the point that it feels like you stepped onto a Hyundai dealership and saw that each car had Mercedes Benz prices. Let's talk about the service because you need to be aware of this before you arrive in the store. The competition among the sales associates is fierce. You are immediately assaulted by a sales associate and it's quite comical as well because every section of the store has its own associate so you will be approached by a minimum of 5 associates and at times it was uncomfortable. We were looking at the rugs section and we got approached by 4 associates in a matter of 20 minutes. One salesmen eerily stood at a distance and just watched waiting for the right moment to strike. In a way it's good because it was nearly impossible to find help when it was Costco but this is ridiculous. Be careful because certain specialist salesman have higher margins on certain items and will try to push those items on you aka the Mattress section. Be careful and pick the item you like and not what the salesman tells you. In conclusion, the store offers some great deals but most of the products are incredibly inflated. You really have to spend time looking because deals are there but the title of the store is an oxymoron. It's anything but a dump
