| - I stayed here on the 4th of July as a lower priced option to downtown hotels. It was clean, friendly and provided the basics that I was looking for - secure, free parking, accessible to highways, free wi-fi, coffee in room, comfortable bed, inside access, free breakfast. As a plus, there was a computer with internet access in the lobby.
It is a small hotel. There is only one ice/vending machine which is on the 1st floor. Because of the location of my room, this was not an issue but I could see it being an inconvenience if your room is far away. The bed was very comfortable and exceeded my expectation. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. Coffee was good. No issues with noise - which on the 4th of July was a pleasant surprise.
Only 2 drawbacks - 1) as others have said, access to the hotel from the road is a bit tricky. No U turn is possible at the intersection so turning around requires multiple turns further up the road. My navigation system was able to direct me easily but those without navigation or knowledge of area may find it cumbersome. Even getting to the gas station across the street required the same kind of roundabout driving. 2) The eggs at the buffet tasted artificial. I couldn't finish them. Everything else at the buffet was OK.
This hotel met my expectations and I would stay there again.
