  • I cannot recommend Little Friends highly enough. We've used them for a few years now to take care of our two dogs and cat and had three different sitters in that time. Both our dogs are EXTREMELY weird and picky, and the sitters have been so patient and accommodating with them. One is blind and needs constant watching/help, and the other won't drink water out of a bowl (you have to give it to him out of a clear cup), walk across hard wood floors, or eat on a normal schedule. I know, I know. Our cat needed pill medication and liquid medication through a dropper, and our sitter didn't even need a tutorial on how to do it! When we're gone, she comes over three times a day and spends an hour each time - a little pricey, but so worth it for the peace of mind. With each new sitter, they've arranged to come over and meet the animals and learn their routines. I leave super annoying, detailed instructions each time we go somewhere, but I know they don't really need them because they're so good at what they do. We get text messages each time they come over that give us an update on how the pets are doing along with pictures and notes, which really sets our minds at ease. It's also really easy to book the visits on their websites. You can choose the time of day they come over and how long they spend with the animals, and they'll even grab your mail/water your plants. They're the best!
