My complaint is about BRIAN FISHER. I CALLED, as I always do and have done for the past year 1/2-2years to make a transfer from my joint checking account to my loan account. I call every month and do this and provide the act # for the joint checking. Usually the people I talk to know who I am (I used to be close with Shylyn who gave amazing customer service and is no longer there). Most of the time the people who answer know who I am, but when they do not they ask me security questions in relation to my account (my password etc.). I gave him my password for my account # but he refused to help me. Said that (even tho it was a joint account) he needed permission from my husband to make any transfers and that I needed HIS password and not mine! ISN'T THE POINT OF A JOINT ACCOUNT SO THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT? He was extremely rude and would not take my password that I set up. This was the first time I ever had this experience in the year 1/2-2 years that I have been calling. His horrible customer service makes me want to leave your bank & move my loans to other financial institutions. (Which we have already considered doing in the past because of horrible customer service). Really miss Shylyn. She was the best this location could have had! My password verified who I was, so there was no reason he needed my husbands password. If he looked at my act he would have seen my password and verified that I was the same on the account. There was no reason to ask for my husbands info. I am still very upset about this and next time I call I will deal with someone else besides BRIAN FISHER. EXTREMELY RUDE EMPLOYEE!
In addition to this, this location is so incompetent. We had bought a car in Dec 2016 and had a loan thru Wells fargo, we knew that with our credit we could get an even better loan rate with ITCU. (WF offered us 5% but we knew we could get less). Well after we submitted an application they kept calling us about buying a new car. We kept telling them it was a re-finance. They called us SIX TIMES over the next few weeks to get more info on the new new car we were GOING to buy, when we told them every single time that we already bought the car and that we were looking to re-finance it to get abetter rate....they could not get that through their thick skulls. They then said we would have to pay $1000 to re-finance. NOPE sorry that is about the $ we would save by changing so what's the point?! I have never heard about paying when you re-finance...I have refinanced my car 3x and never once had to pay $ to do it...So they lost our business on that loan too. Guess we will stick with Wells fargo on that one. We are ready to leave this credit union for good!
