  • Yesterday we dined at DeMarco's for the first time & cannot figure out why we waited so long when we live 3 miles from this gem. We ordered a sausage & caramelized onion pizza (the "small" is BIG) which was not only beautiful to look at but my taste buds were elevated to orgasmic! The thin crust is the best in town: melting in your mouth & not yanking on your teeth. The outer crust charred perfectly, the sausage outstanding (& plenty of it), topped with fresh basil, the "right" spices & fine Mozzarella. We must have looked stoned as we ooed & ahhd. The wall near the restrooms displayed articles of their many accolades, so richly deserved. The ambiance is conducive to a feeling of community, the lighting just right, tables & booths spaced just perfectly, & a very Italian patio when weather permits.The women serving us were delightful, anxious to please, & definitely know their product. I noticed a terrific happy hour menu (3-6:00 M-Fri.) with several Paninis, stuffed peppers, bruschetta, etc. & a fine selection of both draft beers & wines are half price. We can't wait to reappear at DeMarco's for a taste from their huge pasta menu, as well as Veal Parmigiano, Melanzane Parmigiano, seafood Pescatori & more. And a BON APPETIT to you.
