| - Is it possible to give this nightmare of a company 0 stars?
You will get an e-mail with a tracking number and you will be advised that you will receive your package by "end of day today". End of day? It is 9:00 p.m., folks. Which means your entire life is on hold that day to wait, possibly, till 9:00 p.m., to get your package.
I have raised this to the Head Office in Germany on numerous occasions. The staff working this call centre fail to realize: WE ARE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEY ARE THERE TO SERVE US, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. DHL, you suck. You are the most horrible, passive-aggressive, INCONSIDERATE COMPANY to deal with!
Make sure you escalate your calls, Everyone. Regardless of how long it takes, DEMAND that you speak with a person in a Management role in their call centre. You will not get anywhere with the call centre front-line staff. Push back, tell them to stop interrupting you and get your message across that you demand reasonable service.
**UPDATE - 3 hours later**
The driver called me. Asked me if I wanted to come downstairs (I live in an apartment building). Knocked on my door, left the package. DID NOT GET A SIGNATURE WHICH HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GET!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS OUTFIT???????????????????????
