| - "Oooooo, I wanna come back," I said to myself as I read through the menu. There was so much good-sounding stuff I wanted to try, and I felt away about not being able to sample it this one time.
Nevertheless, I settled on the Hollywood omelet. This healthier option is a veggie omelet with cheese. It comes with fruit (but I substituted the fruit for grits) and a biscuit. I also ordered the 'creamiest dreamiest grits'.
The omelet was rather large, I couldn't finish it all. It was a little watery, but I blame the spinach inside of it. It wasn't bad , at all and the tomato coulis went VERY well with the omelet...I kind of want that on all my omelets now. The grits were creamy, delicious, and maybe had a little bit of cheese mixed in, which was good. I wish the portion of grits was bigger. The biscuit was good as well, it was definitely fluffy. Not the greasy, super salty Bojangles biscuit that leaves your fingertips glistening. These are drier, for lack of a better term and I was getting a flour-like aftertaste...and yet it didn't stop me from spreading the signature cranberry apple butter on top and eating it.
Very much looking forward to coming and back and trying the dishes with chicken sausage, and maybe some of the French toast.
