  • I really wanted to like this place because friends of mine who have gone love the food. Maybe I went on an off day but I felt the meats were dry and lacked flavor. It wasn't like I only tried one item...our group had ordered a mixture of ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork sandwich, wings, corn nuggets, hush puppies and potato salad. Nothing really stood out. I am willing to give it a second try but maybe this time I'll go during the day instead of an hour before closing. Aside from the food, the people and service were great.
