  • I appreciate what Luci's is going with their store. It's cool, the food is good, and their little store selection is intriguing. Sure it's crowded but who can blame a place for being popular? Not this Yelper. That said, my verdict has always been out on Luci's. Not that it really matters because the place has like 300 reviews so its rating isn't going anywhere, but every visit I've had is just somewhat imperfect. Nothing big to scream about -- but small mistakes here and there. For example, yesterday we ordered our breakfasts plus 1 small and 1 medium coffee. The cashier rings it up then says, "We're currently out of small cups so they'll both be in mediums." So when our name is called and we grab the coffees, there are two medium cups but one is just partially full. Like, seriously, what is that? You're really going to skimp on the few ounces of DRIP COFFEE? Who does that? How do you even know you gave us the volume of a small and didn't short us? I get that she said they'd both be in medium cups but, man, talk about seeming cheap! So that's the kind of stuff that just eats away at me, visit after visit. I want to love Luci's the way so many others do but they JUST won't let me. It's hard when it's always SOMETHING and, I don't know, I think maybe I'll just have to accept that Luci's just isn't for me.
