  • I saw Dr. Laura Gitlin way before Yelp existed! So, I am posting a review now, to tell all that read how exceptional medical provider she is. I changed 3 GE doctors before I found out about Dr. Gitlin; she has ordered test that no one else did and cured me! Above and beyond bedside manners and care. And, if you need a cardiologist, her, husband, Dr. Jeffrey Gitlin is exceptional as well! Both are very caring people. I am sorry to see one star ratings given to doctors do to staff. I encourage patients to try and pass issues directly to the doctors, if possible. I dealt with two employees, Rachel and Elizabeth, and they were both very attentive and sweet and went above and beyond to help. As far as the insurance issue - us, patients have to have the responsibility as well of calling ahead of time to clarify things; I would let staff do their job, sure, but now, more than ever, with all kinds of expenses in regards to my husbands health, I have learnt to be on the phone with insurance company very often - has deductible been met? Has out of pocket been met? Is this doctor in network? Is this hospital in network? No one cares about us as much as we do.
