our best meal during our stay in pittsburgh.
the carne sandwich was fantastic. the sauces were exquisite. you may as well make a few orders of tostados (toast) simply to enjoy the sauces. the empanadas were really good, and my wife enjoyed her heirloom tomato salad. her only regret? not getting steak on it.
logistics are a bit tricky. it's fast casual in the sense that you wait in line (usually a long time), order, and pay. but then the staff seats you, and you're welcome to stay as long as you want. nobody rushes you, even though there is a long line. there are obvious ways that the restaurant could increase their bottom line (more tables closer together, working more quickly, etc.) but it's quite charming as-is.
highly recommended. and, yes, i'll wait in line next time, too.
