  • I love water and outdoor activities. However this place did NOT do it for me. For one thing the weekend lines were huge. They definitely exceeded the ability of the staff to handle. We were 20 yards away from the lecture of the Mega-Zip and had to wait 45 minutes. Then the mega zip was over in no time. The folks at the locker rentals were absolutely brain dead. I purchased a bin and put my keys in it. Later I gave the id card to one of our students who put his backpack in the bin. Afterwards a while another adult leader needed my keys so I gave the ID to him. He said no keys. Had to find the youth to find out what happened. He said the guy gave him the bin after "cleaning something out of it." A trip to Lost & Found then found our keys. The souvenir shop was just trashed. So many people came in to buy things that they had little to no t-shirts left by the end of the day. Can't they put the product out? When we went to get a bike, we stood there (only two of us) for almost five minutes waiting for the three workers to quit their chit-chat before they noticed that we were waiting for a bike. After we turned the bikes back in, we went over to the high ropes / adventure courses. There we waited for another 45 minutes before we even GOT to the safety lecture. Then another 20 minutes to get on the activity. Do not be deceived. Even short looking lines can take a tremendous amount of time not making it worth it. Finally, I like dogs, but it seemed like it was a dog park. TONS of dogs on leash and many of them snarling and barking. Do they have a rule? Highlights were the rafting. Definitely fun for new whitewater folks. The guides were all good and Captain Dan was an especial treat. May go again if I were nearby or they had a really good deal. Perhaps a couple hours during the week. AVOID at the WEEKENDS.
