  • Carowinds was an adventure of long distances with even longer night drives to get to Carowinds from SoCali it takes you a few days granted if you don't stop to much but when your venturing here you gotta check the weather to plan your stay otherwise you will get wet I mean soaking wet from the Carolina storms! Some of the funnest coasters in the country can be found here with Fury taking you high into the sky only to send you speeding down super fast towards the ground and all around you really can't go wrong on this or any others of the awesome collection of coasters that can be found here just make sure you get to ride them all! They have an abundance of delicious things here I found that the food here is definitely better than some other of the Cedar Fair parks one of the best places here is the Dinning Hall as they have something for whatever your looking to eat as well as a bunch of Coke Freestyle machines if you eat food here or buy anything anywhere in the park don't forget to give them your season pass for a discount off your purchase. Carowinds is a really awesome park as they have a great assortment of rides/coasters for really everyone to enjoy with a all around mellow atmosphere that fits to the area of the country it's in with coasters reaching high up into the Carolina sky you really can't go wrong with a visit to this park just make sure you leave an extra day of the weather allows it as the day I was here was right in hurricane season luckily I was able to spend the whole day here until a hour or so before park closing when it just started coming down with lighting and all the awesomeness you would expect from a storm with this the rides where instantly shut down with all the other park goers scattering like rats to find shelter from the rain wile I just simply didn't care as I just walked around in my sandals getting totally soaked stoked I got to experience all that is Carowinds a park that I will definitely be back to at some point in the not so distant future! Overall if you haven't been here come here and if you do visit here all the time I hope you enjoy this park as much as I did!
