| - Lobster + Fast Food = Lobster Me!
I stumbled upon Lobster Me while walking through the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and was craving an open faced lobster sandwich, so I thought why the heck not! The employees taking your order are very friendly, patient, and are very informative about their products. I ordered their large Lobster Roll, my sister ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese, my other sister ordered a Shrimp Sandwich and my mom ordered the Lobster Ceviche. The total was $70 + which is quite expensive, but I guess that the price you have to pay for lobster!
Lobster Roll on an open faced toasted bun - Good, but definitely not like the ones we have in the Bay Area! The lobster didn't seem as fresh and to be honest, I thought it was sort of dry. I wouldn't skip it and would definitely give it a try if you're craving lobster.
Lobster Mac & Cheese - OMG so good! The dish was perfectly creamy and I was surprised to find a ton of lobster pieces, which was really nice for the price you pay! I could seriously eat this all day.
Shrimp Sandwich - I thought it was going to be fried shrimp, but I was very wrong. The shrimp on an opened faced sandwich was quite disappointing as I found the shrimp to taste frozen and definitely not fresh. Don't quote me on the frozen shrimp, but the shrimp was nowhere near fresh!
I didn't get to try the Lobster Ceviche, but my mom said she hated it. $70 for fast food lobster is no bueno, but it was nice to see a fast food seafood option in the Miracle Mile Shops! I'll probably skip Lobster Me the next time and look for a better option on the Strip.
