rev:text	Day after Christmas 2016, me and my sister and niece went to this Forever 21 branch early, around 9:30 am, they were not ready for shoppers. Went to Rue 21, bought a couple items and decided to check out Forever 21 after 1.5 hours. I found this navy blue military coat with patches right away. Asked the sales rep to get my size and check the price, was red tagged at $26.99, at 70-75% discount. After she scanned the price ($12++), me, my sister and niece, raced to the counter to check out and leavebefore frenzy started. The male cashier at the counter told us after he scanned the item that it was a recalled product and they could not sell it, to our dismay and disbelief!!! There were like 7 pieces of same product positioned at the door to lure customers in. Once inside and customer decided on buying product, was told that it was not for sale. We politely tried to negotiate, to the anger of the cashier, so we asked to speak to the manager, another male came and as the first cashier explained to him the situation, he was raising his voice and even smashed the scanner in our face. At this point, me and my sister were beyond irated! We couldn't believe even manager could not apologize for employee's condescending attitude towards loyal and long standing customers, been patronizing this company for more than 15 years! The least they could have done was honor the sale, then remove displayed recalled products right away. But no, they chose to do this a day after Christmas...a true asshole story. Me, my sister and 13 year old niece will never patronize this store ever again.
