| - I was never in a rush to try Moo & Brew, to be honest, because I thought the name was dumb AF. I'm glad I got over myself and gave 'em a try, though, because they've quickly become one of my favorite burger joints in Charlotte.
I've sat on the patio and inside and I've felt comfortable either way. The service is quick, charming, and helpful.
I would be doing Yelpers a disservice if I didn't share this: get the chicharrones. Get a double order. I'm so serious. They're absolutely perfect, and the flavor is exceptional. The honey lime drizzle is a revelation.
I've been pleased with every burger I've ordered at Moo & Brew. I'm especially glad they have a gluten free bun on the menu.
The fry sides are also delightful. The Bleu Buffalo fries can end up a bit soggy, but the Rosemary Truffle Sea Salt, the Parmesan Garlic Olive Oil, and the Loaded Nacho fries are all excellent. I've also had the black beans as a side. The flavor is good, but they're too spicy for me. Stick with the fries.
Parking can be a pain, but I think that's come to be the way of life in Plaza Midwood.
The clientele seems to skew toward the bro crowd, especially during the brunch hours. Be prepared.
I'm excited to hear about the upcoming NoDa location; I hope they can capture the spirit of the original and find success on that part of town.
In summary: Chicharrones. GF buns. Truffle Fries. Go.
