  • Where to start with this place!! When I moved in, it was really nice and I couldn't understand the negative reviews at all. It doesn't take too long to figure out, its the management running the apartment. I called myself trying to save money by moving into an apartment, give me a break, rent a house, you will be much happier! After my first year, I wanted to renew my lease and was shocked that my rent went up 98.00. That is in addition to the water bill fluctuating because you are paying for everyone else's water. So if you own a home, you can monitor your water usage, in this apartment, impossible, some months 45.00 and fluctuates up to 55.00 monthly, including your rent. Now when your rent is due, they expect it to be paid on time. As a renter, how come things the apartment promises are not done on time? For example, a couple of years ago, they were going to repave the parking lot and power wash the cement. The cement outside the apartment looked absolutely horrible! Of course they didn't keep their promise, they only did the parking lot, had to wait another year for the power wash, and that was a very very piss poor job!!! It still looked disgusting! The garbage is always running over and looks horrible. I had a flower pot that I moved from the back of my patio up to the front where it could be seen. I received a letter for that on my door with a list of whats acceptable on your patio such as 1 bike, etc. I had to actually take a picture and go ask what is the problem, its a flower pot, which they then said was okay. At one time they sent this paper out asking each tenant if they should make the apartment smoke free including outside on your patio. Anyway, I smoke outside on my patio, and I would occasionally smoke in my bedroom with the patio door opened. They stated that my entire apartment had smoke damage and I had to pay for the extra cans of paint. In my 30+ years of smoking, I have never smoked all over my home, none that I rented or owned! All three of my children can attest to that because I never wanted them exposed and I never wanted that smell in my furniture. When I finally decided I had had enough, I put in my notice. You pay your rent online and it was 4th of July which was when I got paid. I tried to pay it online, but my account had been suspended since I was moving. Now remember, I have only been late once in two years and that was because an unauthorized amount was taken out of my account and since it wasn't the apartments fault, I paid the 100.00 late fee. On the 5th of July, I came by the office after work around 5:30 pm because they were not opened when I left for work. I told the young lady that I had tried to pay it all weekend, but my account would not allow it. She said they close the account and you have to come to the office and pay. Okay, that's, no problem. I'm sitting there while she is bringing up my account and giving my my final balance. I asked her if I could write a check because in the past they always say money order. She said absolutely, no problem. by this time it's 5:55 pm, banks close at 6 pm and you cant pull that kind of money out of the ATM. I wrote the check, she stamped it and I left. She chased me down as I was getting in the car and apologized and said they had to have a money order. Okay, Ill get it tomorrow, banks are closed now. She said they will charge you 100.00. I was back in the office at 9:05 am with my money order and yes, they tried to charge me another 100.00. Everyone makes a mistake and I didn't blame the leasing agent at all, she is new, but let me introduce you to the Manager, Roxanne. How this low class, unprofessional individual still has a job is beyond me! She is rude, and does very unethical things. For example, while out taking my daily walk, I see the Manager Roxanne and the maintenance guy stealing someones personal items out of their garage space. Would not have known they were stealing if she didn't talk so loud. As far as the 100.00 late payment for my rent, when I went into the office and asked her about it, she was refusing to take the money order that I got unless I agreed to pay the 100.00. She kept stating that she could not accept that. Are you kidding my! Don't know what she did with it, could have put it in her pocket for all I know since she has a tendency to take things that don't belong to her and that she has not worked for, but I left that money order right on her desk. The day after I moved out, they set up a walk thru, and gave me a time to be there. Since I am alone, I had to wait for the gas company to come out because I had no hot water and the cable man so I could tell him where to put the new lines. As a responsible individual, I called and asked if I could reschedule maybe an hour or two later. The leasing agent said let me ask my manager (Roxanne) and came back with " its 10 am or not at all" which are Roxannes words not the leasing agent. Who in their right mind thinks its okay to talk to adults like tha
