  • Like others, our home warranty co dispatched Papworth. They came to the home 2 days later even though it was in the high 80's. AC was blowing hot air. They ended up hot wiring 2 Pieces together to create an 80 amp part, we think this is what made the compressor go out. Within 24 hours the AC was broken again. They tried to do a cheap fix and now we're in a bind. It's been over a week. AC still isn't fixed, we have to wait 5 days for a part and trust they would actually do the right fix this time? I decided to come out of pocket and pay someone else to fix it. Record heat this month makes it impossible to wait for AC... had they diagnosed and fixed it appropriately the first time, this wouldn't be happening.
