  • QUESTION... When is a Resort not a Resort... HINT... Crown Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort ANSWER... When you're at the Crown Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler, Arizona. From bottom to top, this is definitely an insult to anyone who thinks they are in for a Resort experience. The only thing that is similar to a real resort this place has going, is the cost to stay here. It's like going out on an expensive blind date. Then being embarrassed to admit it didn't work out after you spent all kinds of money I think that what this place counts on. I challenge anyone to consider where this place was over the top or near the top of any common Motel 6, (I don't mean to insult Motel 6 by comparing them to this place). CONS: Cost to stay here- for what you get Paper thin Walls Elevator out of order for entire stay. No Microwave. No Fridge. Much too loud air conditioning units. Uncomfortable beds No Valet. Block long parking lot. Must be a party place for kids on weekends. Never saw any type of security at any time. PROS: Learned never to stay here again!!!
