| - UPDATE:** Please Read**
I was contacted yesterday by Matthew Teneyck, the operations manager for Jackson's Car Wash and we started a conversation here on FB and continued this morning via phone.
We had a very pleasant conversation about my frustrations as a customer and how poorly I felt we were treated. How a good gesture meant to make someone feel better became kind of a nitemare for both of us, a horrendous collision of errors and short-comings. Not to mention, not something that I wanted to deal with ALL weekend.
Clearly, Matthew Teneyck means well and when a company reaches out to say, HEY we aren't perfect but we really don't want to lose you as a customer (and then lets you freely aire your grievances) I'm gonna give this guys some props.
I see his effort to reach out to those leaving feedback and honesty I like to see that with any company. Communication is everything.
Jackson's Car Wash refunded my money and said they still wanted to detail my son's car. This morning at the Tatum location, we were warmly greeted by Tony who had a great smile and assured my son, he'd be taken care of. The car was completed in 2 1/2 hours.
Matt, the operations manager for Jackson's put in effort to make this better for us and he succeeded. I was completely "better" when I saw my son smile as he meticulously scanned his new but not new Acura. It definitely looked NICE!.
We met the detailer, my son tipped him $40 and said Thank you. Tony came back and shook my son's hand. They told us to come back if it rained, they'd wash it again. Man, I wish that's how it could have gone yesterday! That's the way a transaction should go! (And Sundays would be all mine!!)
I'd go back to Jackson's Car Wash, I'd for sure go back to Tatum location (not so much the Bell location) Thank's again Matt, I told you if you made it right, I'd tell people that too, so I am.
And now back to my weekend, what's left of it ;-)
