Perhaps five stars is excessive for this modest bookstore, but I thoroughly enjoyed browsing here and found it to be sort of perfect for what it is. It's small, with a touch of chaos (a lot of piles of books) but not too much -- it basically feels ordered -- and the more you browse, the more you realize that the collection is very well selected. It's not huge but it contains very little crap and generally very high quality. There are quite a lot of old/collectible editions too if you're into that kind of thing -- I was tempted by some old 60s Penguins. In the end I walked out with a cool old edition of Jessica Mitford's *A Fine Old Conflict* and a Penguin edition of Pierre Boulle's *Planet of the Apes.* Prices are reasonable. The Scrabble letters used to mark different sections are a great touch. (Their free bookmarks are really pretty, too.)
