  • As far as some of these reviews go, I'd totally have to agree...A.J.'s in NO place to purchase everyday groceries. Unless you've got that "old money" lying around. I actually saw someone purchase Windex and a roll of paper towels from there today. I'm not too proud to get 3 rolls/$3.50 at Target - come on now. I WILL have to say that A.J.'s has an excellent salad bar. Not your typical potato salad, macaroni salad type salad bar. They have crab, actual chicken chunks, artichokes, green olives, real bacon, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, eggs, etc. It's my go-to salad spot when I'm in the mood. Their tea selection is awesome. You can't go wrong with the green tea...always with an orange. A.J.'s does carry fruits that some stores (not even Safeway) would carry. We were looking for star-fruit for a drink garnish and found it there. Sugar cane for mojitos and cute novelty stuff. I think it's funny how uppity people get when they walk into A.J's, however...it's like "dummy, you just got out of the same kind of Honda I have...don't act like your stuff don't stank"!!! P.S. - You must try their pretzel bread!!! OMG!!!
