Renaissance Park has expanded and offers something for everyone. From mountain biking and trail running to baseball diamonds, sand volley ball courts, tennis courts and much more. Clean facilities, disc golf and well trekked through trails. I recommend taking the second entrance into the park (skip the "tennis court" entrance) and parking in the older section of the park [Random note: they also have recycling facilities here]. The trails all interlace and it's a great spot if you're looking for some shady, beginner-medium level trails. You'll find various signs pointing towards different trails once you're on the routes, they're not very defined, but since they're packed together, you won't easily get lost, just keep running and eventually you'll find a way out. I'd say the trails from parking lot to parking lot could easily get your three miles and more if you re-run sections. If you have trouble finding the entrance to the trails, they're located past the volleyball courts towards the front of the park on the right hand side OR if you're in the second lot you'll find two trails located on either side of the parking lot.
