  • I'm ticked off at The owners of Midwood Smoke house. After living in Plaza Midwood for over 10 years, you finally decide to open the most incredible barbecue joint there is in Charlotte and I don't live there anymore. Let just start off by saying BURNT ENDS, BURNT ENDS, BURNT ENDS. I don't care what you order, you have to at least try a side of burnt ends. After traveling to Texas and Oklahoma this is the closest fatty brisket, I have found that even compares. I would say it's even better, because it is a whole lot closer. I cannot give a fair evaluation of all the food because the only thing that I've had is the fatty brisket, burnt ends and the bacon wrapped jalapeños. Twice in the last week and will be going back in a few days with my co workers that have not been there yet. I think as long as they stay true to the food that they are creating, they will have a long legacy in Charlotte. Great job!!!!
