I used them for 3 years at one home, then when we moved I contacted them and used them for almost another 3 years. My husband retired and we were changing things to lower our monthly bill so looked into alternatives. I called to cancel this service and was told I had signed a contract for 3 years. Now, when we moved in there was an alarm system, but the installer said theirs was better and it was only $100 to install. It's my fault I didn't pay attention but THAT'S what locked me into a contract. Long story short they were adament about me buying myself out of the contract (which was almost up, just shy of 2 months) and said when I moved they would credit the money but they made me pay. SORRY I will NEVER do business with a company that would not waive $37 after taking my money for almost six years!! Also had an issue with the service the two times the alarm was set off by accident. More than one person called from the same place... they don't communicate with one another! What a shame to take my money for so long then have no concern for me and my situation. Monitoring costs the company next to nothing and the small amount could have been waived to keep good will with a long time customer.
