  • Just stayed at Westgate for 4 nights in Room 316. My room was robbed on the last night of my stay. My iPad, some cash, and a few other items were taken. No visible forced entry. Hotel Security and LV Police were contacted and report filed. Hotel security and front desk manager were useless. They've turned it over to "Risk Management Department" I've called them and have received no call back. It appears room was robbed by someone with a key to the room. I'll provide an update once I hear back from a representative of the hotel. Avoid this place if you can as safety and security are clearly an issue. If you must stay here USE THE SAFE! I had packed my bags on last night then went out for dinner came back and items were missing. Update Nov 27th 2017 - "risk management" employee Michelle M told me the hotel was self-insured and therefore they do their own investigation to determine if they are liable and would pay any claim. One guess what their "investigation" found. You guessed it. The Westgate determined they were not liable. What a joke. I was robbed while staying there and they refuse to take any responsibility at all. Avoid this place at all costs!
