  • We discovered Desert Wind after Whole Foods stopped roasting their beans, and are so glad that we did. Checked several rosters in Yelp, and chose to come here, which has been a blessing. When I first arrived I said that we liked French Dark Roast, which appears to be available at Starbucks, Whole Foods and Sprouts, but their beans come in whenever, pre-roasted, and frankly the last I got from Whole Foods was lackluster at best. Joe walked me through all of the beans they carried, discussing their different attributes, and I bought a half pound of two different varieties. In short, we love the Sumatra beans! They roast all of their beans in-house (I need to check on when, because I know the aroma is magnificent!), and their customer service is second to none. When I am in need, I call in, place my order, and the bags of whole beans are waiting for me when I arrive. Pam and Joe are delightful people, as are all of their employees - I called one morning at about 6:55 (they open at 7:00) and John answered. I asked why are you answering the phone before you are open? He replied because I called. It doesn't get any better than this. I highly recommend Desert Wind for quality of product, attention to detail, and exemplary customer service.
