  • This is a Monroe Street hotspot. Deservedly so, as it has the trifecta of good food, good service and a world class beer list. There's a beer for every taste and a knowledgeable staff that will help you navigate through the many choices. If you're undecided they have free samples. I always order the moules (mussels) and frites (fries). They are the best in Madison and large enough to split. Today's lunch special was a halibut salad sandwich. This was my husbands choice and he said it was refreshing and tasty served on perfectly toasted sour dough bread. The servers are friendly and efficient and everything we've tried has been consistently good. The reason for only four stars? We were seated in the newer addition and it was very cold. No heat at all. The couple seated next to us put their winter coats back on. It turned what was to be a two beer lunch into a one and done.
