  • I've done the high Fremont zipline, also the one on Catalina island off LA, Ca. They were both scary and fun, but this one was the scariest for me! Maybe because of the sudden deep void or something, but I needed a few seconds to be able to look down. You are strapped to a small, short seat that makes you feel like falling off at every move, that's what got me. But others had no problem with this, so it's everyone's call. I definitely recommend trying the zipline, if you make it through the scarier Rio hotel (because it's old and ran down, you see) all the way to the 51st floor. There is a young, funny crowd running this ride, from the initial "before" pictures to the zipline pics selections, it's fast and fun. Pictures are $20 or less and you can also get a video if you order it in advance. You are not allowed with a GoPro or camera or anything else, so don't count on it.
