| - They do good work, but their communication and follow up are lacking. I hit a deer in my VW and needed a new hood, grill, AC support, bumper, and windshield. Those all came out fine, but they didn't put in a new hood liner, instead replacing the old one which didn't fit the new hood and stay in place, so they said they would order a new one and let me know when it came it. They called me and told me it arrived but didn't schedule an appointment then, saying they would contact me later about the repairman's schedule. I never heard from them in a month. Plus, when I made the appointment initially, it was via the national website, and the local franchise didn't get all the information from it. Then they would call from 3 different phone numbers. Look at the reviews for Scott's and you will see similar. Other things are good though. Payment was very easy; I used my credit card. There was no hassle about what my insurance (USAA comprehensive) would cover or not. I got a call about the windshield crack and if it was a result of the deer, and I said yes and it was included. They did a nice job cleaning the car before returning it, even vacuuming out the inside very thoroughly. The initial repair only took about a week, and when I dropped off my car, the parts clerk gave me a lift back to my office about 2 miles away in their company truck.
