| - WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE I MADE BY USING David Mann's office for my child custody case. Once I paid the deposit and set up the payments, I NEVER saw David again. Correction, i did see him around the office but apparently my case was pawned off to another lawyer who I have never met. I LEARNED ALL OF THIS ON MY COURT DATE. On this date, I was met by a random attorney out of davids office I have NEVER EVEN MET. You might be wondering "why" has she never met him? Well, unbeknownst to me, IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TALK TO AN ATTORNEY AFTER I PAID THE DEPOSIT (my 1st visit). I called NUMEROUS times to find out the status of my case or if they received my paper works, or just a general inquiry that everything is received and nothing else needed, etc. However, I NEVER EVER received a call back. The front desk girls will never let you talk to an attorney. Instead, they will do the verification on the system what documents have been submitted and judge for themselves what "might be" the next step in your case. The front office girls has zero professionalism. Their language skills are equivalent to Junior high girls squeezing in words such as "like" in every spoken sentence. They also said a lot of "uuh, i don't know". It was insanity trying to deal with this office. Btw, I also got a feeling David & James did a few too many lines. Other review also said he was shaking in front of the judge & forgot his materials. Other observations also leaned into this suspicion.
My lawyer who I met on the 1st court date failed to tell me I needed to submit an income form. It was a bit embarrassing when I went back on my 2nd court date (after I decided not to use their law office any longer) and the judge asked where the document was. I had to ask for an extension to turn this document in. I was so upset, I went to their office to try and talk to Mike, but apparently, MY LAWYER NO LONGER WORKED THERE. At this point, it was basically "WTF. ARE YOU KIDDING ME".....and rest of my day these following words ran through my mouth repeatedly: "I cant believe this, they gotta be fkn kidding me"!!........mind you, these are NOT the kind of thoughts you should be having during a CHILD CUSTODY BATTLE.
In conclusion as I try and regain my positive chi..... I should of been more vigilant and turned around and walked out instead of using these guys. But at the time, I was in a hurry to obtain a lawyer (that worked with affordable payments). Biggest mistake ever. These guys are such cons. I wish there was something someone could do about this. They should NOT be in practice. PLEASE TRUST THE REVIEWS AND KEEP LOOKING!!!!!
