  • I've been coming to Bailey Blu for a while to buy my boyfriend's dog's raw food and treats. The staff are fantastic and informative, but recently, my dog got very ill off the raw chicken. He's been on the diet for yrs and never had issues. Clearly, we got a bad batch because we went to the vet and he had a bunch of tests done and had no parasites or allergies; through process of elimination, it seems it was the food that caused his vomiting, diarrhea and lethargy. This goes to show that the raw pet diet can be risky. We took him off the food and he recovered almost instantly and oddly enough, his rancid breath went away. I still buy his treats there, which are good. Moral of the story: do lots of research and consult numerous vets if you're considering a raw diet! Aside from this one thing, Bailey Blu is a great neighbourhood pet boutique and the employees are kind and always very welcoming. Love their cute novelty products. They also sell really good quality harnesses for dogs.
