| - My husband and Itook our girls to Vegas for Spring Break. We booked a room at Excalibur because our girls loved the idea of staying in a castle! I was kinda iffy about staying here due to the cheap price. When we arrived at the hotel, we were checked in in no time. The staff are very friendly, and provided excellent customer service. However, I was frightened by what we found in our room. There was hair stuck to the pillows with buggers. There was blood and dry seaman on the sheets and blankets. We called housekeeping to request clean linens. Once the house keeper came to the room, she was unable to find any clean linens on her cart. All of her "clean linen" were dirty. I could not understand why dirty linens were folded and stocked on the cart. Long story short, the hotel refused to give us another room because we booked our hotel with our flight. They were unable to put sheets on our bed. Rather than sleeping on a bate hotel mattress, we book another hotel and high tailed it out of there. This is an old hotel, so we keept our expectations low, but this was a new found level of low. This hotel is cheap, so it brings in lower end customers. There was a fight going on in the bar between a customer and a bartender as we were walking in the casino. There were f-bombs and middle fingers flying left and right. This hotel is no place for a good family. The pictures for this hotel were very misleading. The rooms are smokey, damp and just have an overall dirty feel. There are no pictures of the bathrooms on their website, and for good reason. The bathrooms are disgusting.
