I'll be brief. The fairways and bunkers haven't been maintained in a long time. It is evident that the staff simply doesn't care about the condition of the course or the value they provide to the customer.
Heck, it's been years since the name change and even the old signage pointing you to Deer Run is still up. The owners don't even want you to find your way there because they know what we now know. They want you to think of Deer Run but are baiting and switching you to Pittsburgh National.
The fairways are burned out, diseased, divot holed and full of weeds from lack of attention. There is no reward for being in the fairways as you won't find a good lie. You're better off playing from the unmowed rough.
The bunkers are full of rocks and pebbles. Prepare to damage your equipment if you are unfortunate to be in one. It's an insult to our intelligence and reason to call these sand bunkers.
They simply don't care about the customer at this course.
