  • I have eaten at the cod father many many times, I love the food the Ambiance is average . Today I ate there for lunch and had fresh cod and chips with tartar sauce, I asked for more tartar sauce and the waitress said that will be 25 cents , I could not believe what she said the fish and chips are in themselves on the expensive side and to add $.25 for more tartar sauce is ridiculous and an insult , I asked for the manager and even though he did not agree there was nothing he could do because that was the word from the lady and gentlemen that own it, the British couple, so I checked on the menu and nowhere on the menu does it say extra tartar sauce 25cents , it's not the money it's the principle, I find that very cheap and unacceptable at the prices they charge you should get as many tartar sauces as your need . I personally will never go back, that did it for me
