  • When living in Milwaukee, my husband and I were fortunate to have a great Cheers style neighborhood bar (with an impeccable tap list), and unfortunately we haven't been able to recreate that same feeling here in Madison yet. But, I feel as though BarleyPop could be a contender. The beer here is varied and plentiful. The customers and staff have all been friendly and welcoming on our visits. As well, they have a ton of beer to purchase and take home with ya. This is truly a beer snob's bar. And I might be a beer snob... Best part? Pup friendly! They have picnic tables set up that give you and your pup a chance to hang out with others!
