  • We stopped in to Freed's last night while waiting for our pizza order (yes I know...really healthy). I was really surprised to see how large their selection of cookies, macarons, macaroons and cake by the slice was. We took our time looking over all of the selections. So many of my favorites! Red velvet cake, tiramisu, huge cream puffs, wedding cake, fruit and custard tarts...and then I see CHOCOLATE KAHLUA BANANA cake. How could I possibly pass that up? I can't. It was delicious! Moist chocolate cake, slices of fresh bananas, whipped cream and a hint of Kahlua. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try more of these sweet treats.
