Need motivation to get in shape or just a new workout routine? CrossFit! I'm in for the later reason. CrossFit has a very positive attitude and encouraging trainers. Not only that, but regulars are very helpful.
They concentrate on every aspect of your fitness needs. I did my "Baseline" and I was spent! It's a way for them to gauge where your fitness level is. (500M Row, 40 Air Squats, 25 Sit-ups, 20 Push-ups, 10 Pull-ups) I finished in 5.23, which I'm not sure if that's average or good. Regardless, it was a hell of a rush. The gym itself was pretty basic looking; then again you shouldn't let it discourage you. I definitely recommend CrossFit for young or old, newbie or veteran trainees; it's a great way to start getting in shape! - Enjoy!
