  • We looked for weeks to make sure we hired the right contractor for our house remodel. We heard too many horror stories from friends and wanted to make sure we made the best choice. Schott Development was more than we could have hoped for in a contractor. From our first meeting until the last day of the job, Chris & Aaron were honest, straightforward, and professional. During the initial phase when we were interviewing contractors, Schott Development was the only company who had their subcontractors come to our home and actually look at what they would be doing. Instead of padding their bid with hidden costs, Schott Development had their contracting fee separate from the construction costs so we knew exactly what to expect. This was the case with the whole job. They were able to do things other contractors wouldn't do and for an extremely fair price. When we discovered some hidden water damage, Chris made recommendations that didn't add to the cost of the project. Any changes were ones we made, not surprises from them. All of the subs they used did a great job, and every design idea that Aaron had was perfect for our home. The result? I now live in my dream home. We got everything we wanted and then some. Schott Development made the remodel process as painless as they could with amazing results. We stayed in the home during construction and they were great at respecting our space. I will never use anyone else again! Hire Schott Development and you won't be disappointed.
