  • I lived in Calgary as a kid and I remember this hotel being there even then. We stayed here one night thanks to airmiles and it was OK. But just OK. The rooms were nice, however the bathroom had a lot of mold and funny things growing in the caulking in the shower. It kinda grossed me out. Also, the bed looked a little worse for wear which is not what you want to see when you walk into a hotel room. The staff were very nice and helpful and even let us check in a bit early. There wasn't anything particularly amazing about this place, but nothing particularly bad about it again. If I am paying for a room in the area I will probably spend the extra cash and stay somewhere a bit nicer, but for a freebie this place was great! The starbucks downstairs in the morning was a nice treat as well.
