  • I recently switched dentists as I have moved from the Ahwatukee area to the East Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I am typically hesitant on switching dentists because I have been through a couple of doctors and was very happy with my current dental practice. A good buddy of mine recommended, Smile Today Scottsdale, and I checked out the reviews and noticed that they were mixed. Strictly from his recommendation, I called the office to schedule an appointment and they mentioned that the office has a new doctor.owner. So I decided to give the practice a chance and came in for a cleaning and exam. I meet a fantastic hygienist (forgot her name ;( ), in which I had the best dental cleaning in years. Meet the new doctor (Dr. B.) in the practice, he seemed really confident and had a great chair side manner; and mentioned that I had a small cavity and asked if I wanted to get it taken care of the same day. Wow- my other practice took another week or 2 to get back in for an appointment. Self admitted, I was a little nervous to get a shot, because I hate needles, but Dr. B offered the "laughing gas" at no-charge to help calm my nerves. I honestly, did not feel the shot at all, and the filling only took about 10 minutes. All in all, I am super impressed with the new doctor and practice as a whole. The front office staff was super professional and it was probably the best dental appointment that I have had in a long time. No pain with the shot and was super relaxed with the laughing gas that was provided during the treatment. I will be a patient as long as I stay in the area and would recommend them to my friends in Scottsdale.
