I was in for a left heart cauterization on Monday. Every thing went well until I taken to the 3 floor cardiac section. This where everything went South. Nurse checked me real quick said to lay flat for 4 hours and left. He came back briefly when my wife asked if they weren't going to give me some water. The nurse acted like I was a real burden to him. It took another reminder before water was brought. Late in the afternoon nurse came in to discuss my medications, a list they had from when I checked early that morning, for which he told me I would getting only one from my dinner med list. Four is what I normally take along with insulin. My doctor had told me to resume normal meds soon after procedure. Hospital had called me at home several days before check in and said to bring medication list showing all meds and time of day that they were to be taken. Nurses completely ignored this list, whether it was their undertaking or hospital staff, I don't know.
I was in this past July 2017 for same procedure and did not have this problem. I was very satisfied with the July stay.
Doctor discharged me early on Tuesday, Like I told doctor, it was not a place to get any rest, which I didn't for all the noise during the night. Won't be going back.
