I often look for a place to have afternoon tea when I travel and this is one of my favorite spots I've stumbled across. The Inn itself is lovely and was decorated for Halloween when I visited. The tea room was quiet and refined. Me and a friend and only one other couple were there on the day I visited. The tea selection was excellent and the menu seasonally appropriate and delicious. The sous chef brought out the trays himself and explained everything on the plates along with their ingredients. You can also try as many different teas as you like throughout the time you're there. I tried the Pomegranate Oolong as well as a seasonal Pumpkin tea. Both were delicious and served perfectly. I recommend for those looking for a great afternoon tea in Pittsburgh!
