Last week I went to my first two shows at the Uptown Amphitheater, and I have to say that I'm impressed. It's like a small-scale replica of the PNC Amphitheater out towards Concord. The lawn is a good size where you can set up a blanket or just a couple of chairs. They offer rental chairs, but I feel like they're a little over-priced at $10. The lawn slopes toward the stage to create a great view for everyone, but get there early to mark out your space. I have not used the concert seating closer to the stage, but I can't imagine there are many if any issues with it. My only problem is that the entrance/exit is on one side of the amphitheater and all food, beverage, souvenir, and restroom options are on the complete opposite side of the venue. Overall, two great experiences and one great place to catch a concert.
